These cookies would be great with a vanilla butter cream or cream cheese frosting. I found this recipe in one of my favorite cookbooks but must admit that I have not tried them yet but will for Valentine's Day.

  • 1 box
    duncan hines red velvet cake mix
  • 1 sm
    chocolate instant pudding
  • 1/3 - 1/2 c
    egg whites, adjust as needed
  • 1 pkg
    semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream

How To Make red velvet cookies - stephanie

  • 1
    Mix all dry ingredients together; add egg whites and sour cream. Mixture will be thick so you can add more egg whites. Put in plastic bag. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Cut a hole in bag and squeeze cookie mixture onto pan. Bake 10 - 14 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost with cream cheese or butter cream frosting.
