Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies

Mama Robin

These are great and easy to make - the perfect 4th of July colors too! I sometimes substitute white yogurt chips for the white chocolate, or just add them for a different flavor!

1 tsp
1 1/4 c
vanilla or white chocolate chips

How to Make Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1Preheat oven to 350.

Mix powdered sugar and cornstarch in a pie pan or shallow dish. (mix with a fork and set aside)
    Melt butter
  • 2Blend cake mix, butter, eggs and white chocolate chips in mixing bowl. (I sometimes substitute white yogurt chips or add them with the chocolate chips for a different effect)
  • 3Roll dough into 1 1/4" balls and roll in powdered sugar mixture. Set about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 4Bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes depending on your oven. This makes moist & chewy cookies. Bake slightly longer if you like them crunchier.
