red velvet chocolate chip cookies
These are great and easy to make - the perfect 4th of July colors too! I sometimes substitute white yogurt chips for the white chocolate, or just add them for a different flavor!

- 2 large eggs
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 1/4 cups vanilla or white chocolate chips
How To Make red velvet chocolate chip cookies
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Mix powdered sugar and cornstarch in a pie pan or shallow dish. (mix with a fork and set aside) Melt butter
-
Step 2Blend cake mix, butter, eggs and white chocolate chips in mixing bowl. (I sometimes substitute white yogurt chips or add them with the chocolate chips for a different effect)
-
Step 3Roll dough into 1 1/4" balls and roll in powdered sugar mixture. Set about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.
-
Step 4Bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes depending on your oven. This makes moist & chewy cookies. Bake slightly longer if you like them crunchier.
