These are great and easy to make - the perfect 4th of July colors too! I sometimes substitute white yogurt chips for the white chocolate, or just add them for a different flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 cups vanilla or white chocolate chips

How To Make red velvet chocolate chip cookies

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Mix powdered sugar and cornstarch in a pie pan or shallow dish. (mix with a fork and set aside) Melt butter
  • Step 2
Blend cake mix, butter, eggs and white chocolate chips in mixing bowl. (I sometimes substitute white yogurt chips or add them with the chocolate chips for a different effect)
  • Step 3
Roll dough into 1 1/4" balls and roll in powdered sugar mixture. Set about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Step 4
Bake at 350 for about 8-10 minutes depending on your oven. This makes moist & chewy cookies. Bake slightly longer if you like them crunchier.
