Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar, white
- 1 dash salt
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam
- 2 tablespoons orange juice, fresh
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
How To Make raspberry orange jam thumbprint cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a large bowl cream together butter, sugar, salt and orange zest. Sift in flour and mix until just combined.

Step 3Roll one inch balls of dough and place on a ungreesed cookie sheet. Make a small hole in the center of each ball using your thumb or finger. Fill with jam and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.

Step 4In a small bowl mix together orange juice and powdered sugar. Drizzle onto the cooled cookies and let dry.
