How to Make Raspberry Bars
- Sift flour, baking powder & salt into a bowl.
- Cut in the butter & add milk.
- Knead very lightly. Press into a 10 x 10 pan.
- Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 10-15 minutes until light brown.
- While dough is baking, beat egg with sugar & fold in coconut.
- Spread baked dough with jam, then with coconut mixture.
- Return to oven for 20-25 minutes until a very light brown.
- Cut into bars when cool.
