How to Make Raspberry Bars
- 1Sift flour, baking powder & salt into a bowl.
- 2Cut in the butter & add milk.
- 3Knead very lightly. Press into a 10 x 10 pan.
- 4Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 10-15 minutes until light brown.
- 5While dough is baking, beat egg with sugar & fold in coconut.
- 6Spread baked dough with jam, then with coconut mixture.
- 7Return to oven for 20-25 minutes until a very light brown.
- 8Cut into bars when cool.
