Ingredients

  • 2 c
    raisins, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 3/4-1 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp
    water

How to Make Raisin Oatmeal Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients together and cook over medium heat until thickened, Set aside
  2. Cream butter and brown sugar, then add dry ingredients. Mix until crumbly.
  3. spray lightly a 13x9 pan. Press 1/2 of the mixture into the pan, spread raisin filling over the top. Sprinkle the rest of crumb mixture on top.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 40Min. Makes 2 1/2 dozen bars
