Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups raisins
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- CRUMB MIXTURE
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 1 3/4 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
How To Make raisin mumbles

Step 1For the raisin filling mix the raisins, sugar, cornstarch, water and lemon juice.

Step 2Cook stirring constantly over low heat until thickened about 5 minutes. Cool.

Step 3For the crumb mixture. Mix butter with sugar, add dry ingredients, then mix in the oat. Mix well.

Step 4Press half of the crumb mixture into greased 13x 9x 2 pan.

Step 5Spread the raisin filling over the pressed on crumb mixture.

Step 6Pat on remaining crumb mixture on top of filling.

Step 7Bake at 400 degrees 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 8Cool and cut into bars.
