raisin filled cookies
My Pastor's wife Jean makes these at Christmas. She gave us a box and I wasn't sure about raisin cookies. When I bit into one of these I can assure you it wasn't the last one. Absolutely delicious any time of the year.

Ingredients
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 61/2 cups flour
- 1 box raisins
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups cold water
- 4 tablespoons flour (heaping)
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- RAISIN FILLED COOKIES
How To Make raisin filled cookies

Step 1Mix cookie recipe. First 8 ingredients. Roll out dough, cut out circles. About 2" or whatever you like.

Step 2The filling Recipe is the next 7 ingredients starting with the box of raisins. Cook filling until it thickens being careful not to let it burn. Cook this filling before rolling out the cookies. Let this filling cool before putting this on the cookies.

Step 3Put cooled filling in center of circles. Cover top with another circle. Use fork to seal edges. Bake at 400o for 8-10 minutes.
