raisin drop cookies
I love this recipe so versatile. You can try other ingredients, but I love the taste of raisins and cinnamon. This recipe will taste good with either unsalted or salted butter. In fact with this batch I used unsalted butter.

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins
How To Make raisin drop cookies

Step 1In a mixing bowl beat butter with an electric mixer on medium high for about 30 seconds.

Step 2Add about half of the flour,then the sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Beat till thoroughly combined.

Step 3Beat in remaining flour. Stir in the one cup of raisins.

Step 4Drop by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake in a 375 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till edges are golden brown.

Step 6Remove cookies immediately from cookie sheet and cool on a wire rack.

Step 7Recipe makes between 24 to 30 cookies.
