This is the cookie my boys always request for their birthday. They love it better than the cake and fight over them, even tho they are grown! Chocolate is their favorite, but my husband likes it made with spice cake flavor. DO NOT make it like the cake mix box!

Ingredients

1 box cake mix, any flavor
8 oz. - cool whip (or off brand)
1 - egg
- powdered sugar

How To Make quick chewy cookies

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use Large Bowl, put in powder from cake mix.

Step 2

Add Cool whip
Step 3

Beat egg, then add to mixture.
Step 4

Mix by hand, it's a bitch to stir, sticky. I use and alternate between a large serving fork and large spoon type spatula.
Step 5

get a small bowl, put powdered sugar in.
Step 6

get clean spoon, get ball of dough, put into powdered sugar. Cover with powdered sugar, leave in ball and place on cookie sheet lightly sprayed with pam.
Step 7

bake in oven 10-11 minutes
Step 8

go by time, let set for 1-2 minutes. Then place on wax/baking paper till set and cool.
