Ingredients

  • COOKIES

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 stick
    unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    maple syrup
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    canned pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground all-spice
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch
    ground cloves
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • FROSTING

  • 2 (8oz) pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla
  • ·
    zest of 1 lemon

How to Make Pumpkin Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting

Step-by-Step

  1. Cookie:

    Preheat oven to 350 degreed F. Cream sugar and butter together until light and fluffy. Add the maple syrup and eggs then the pumpkin.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, all-spice, nutmeg, and cloves. Add everything together and mix well. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets and Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Frosting:

    Beat the cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Mix together. Fold in the lemon zest then spread frosting on the cookies once they are cooled :)
