Ingredients

  • 1 c
    shortening or butter
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 c
    canned pumpkin
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 5 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    allspice
  • 2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 2 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 c
    semi sweet chocolate chips

How to Make Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. I add allspice and pumpkin pie spice to taste.
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheet
    In a large bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, then stir in pumpkin and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and spices: gradually mix into the creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by tablespoon onto cookie sheet.

    Bake for 15 minutes ore until light brown
