  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg ( i have whole nutmeg i grate, if you do this just becareful of how much you put in...)
  • 1/2 cup shredded peeled apples ( i use the granny smith apples)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans ( or walnuts, or you can omit them if you want to)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

How To Make praline apple waffle cookies

  • Step 1
Spray Waffle iron with non stick spray. Heat waffle iron to med. low setting. Beat Brown sugar and butter until blended. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add the flour, baking powder, 1 tsp cinnamon, salt and nutmeg. Mix well. Stir in apples and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls on waffle iron (I put them in the middle of the 4 squares and make 4 cookies at once). Bake for about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until the light on your waffle iron goes off to tell you that they are done.... Remove from the iron and roll them into powdered sugar or leave them as is...you can also make some cinnamon sugar and sprinkle on them...
