Received this receipe from a co-worker over 20 years ago. Submitted it to my church cookbook. Many were not sure about it until I brought samples the next week.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar granulated
  • 1 c
    butter, room temperature or margarine
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2
    well beaten eggs
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 c
    crushed potato chips
  • 6 oz
    pkg of butterscotch chips (may have to divide lg bag)

How to Make Potato Chip Cookies (One the Kids Like)

Step-by-Step

  1. Beat eggs, sugars, margarine together
  2. Add flour & soda, then potato chips & butterscotch chips.
  3. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.Bake 10 minutes @ 325 on ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Watch carefully-burn easily.
