potato chip cookies
My Aunt Eleanor first made this recipe in the 1960's. It has been a family favorite ever since. It is always in my Christmas cookie collection. They melt in your mouth.

Ingredients
- 1 cup potato chips crushed
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter or margerine
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 - egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup crushed nuts (walnuts)
How To Make potato chip cookies

Step 1Sift flour. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and mix. Add flour gradually and blend. Fold in potato chips and nuts. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 350 degree for 15 min. Sprinkle with powdered sugar while warm.
