Potato chips and cookies?! Absolutely! I was a little unsure myself, but was anxious to give these little cookies a try. I'm so glad I did! The finished product reminds me of a crunchy sugar cookie. They were a hit with the Kitchen Crew!

Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 - eggs
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 cup nuts, if desired
- 2 cups potato chips, crushed
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make potato chip cookies

Step 1Cream together sugars and shortening.

Step 2Add eggs and mix well.

Step 3Mix flour, salt and soda. Add to batter.

Step 4Stir in potato chips and nuts.

Step 5Make small balls and press on un-greased cookie sheet. with floured fork, flatten each cookie.

Step 6Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
