poor man's cookie's
this recipe was from when I was young my card doesn't have mins. to bake on it ,I haven't made them since I was little I don't remember what they taste like

- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- - powdered sugar( ice with while hot)

Step 1mix raisins shortening water boil slowly 20 mins. let cool

Step 2mix flour,soda,cinnamon,cloves,allspice sugar add 1egg and cooled raisin mixture bake on cookie sheet 375' ? mins
