This is a recipe from my childhood. We loved it as kids.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    shortening
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 can(s)
    pineapple, crushed (8 oz) drained
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour

How to Make Pineapple Nut Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs.
  2. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture with pineapple, vanilla, and nuts. Mix well.
  3. Drop by teaspoon on greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
