1 cup shortening
2 - eggs (beaten)
1/2 can pineapple, crushed with juice
1 cup white sugar
4 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 can chopped nuts (optional)

How To Make pineapple cookies

Step 1

Bake in the preheated 350 degree oven Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs together add the pineapple and vanilla. Sift the dry ingredients together into the creamed mixture. Then nuts can be added now if you are using them. Drop onto a greased cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes.
