Ingredients
- 1 cup ripe persimmon pulp sprinkled with
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups margarine or shortening or half of each
- 2 - beaten eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup choppped dates
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make persimmon cookies

Step 1Cream sugar and shortening; add persimmon pulp. Beat well; add beaten eggs. Add flour and spices, nuts, raisins and dates.

Step 2Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.

Step 3Bake at 375 degrees 12 to 15 minutes.
