Add to Grocery List

3 oz
cream cheese
1 c
2 c
whole eggs, well beaten
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c
2 Tbsp
melted butter
1 or 2 tsp
1 1/2 c
finely chopped pecans
1/4 tsp

How to Make Pecan Tartlets

  • 1To make shells, beat cheese and butter together until creamy. Cut in flour as for pastry. Form mixture into 48 1-inch balls, making them all the same size. Place 1 ball into each section of miniature muffin tins. Press the balls of dough evenly with your fingers to complete cover the bottom and sides of each cup in the tin.
  • 2Combine all filling ingredients together thoroughly. Spoon filling into shells leaving a little head room to allow for expansion as they bake. Bake at 350F for about 25 minutes. Cool in pans for 5 minutes. Remove carefully; a sharp knife is beneficial here.
