- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened

- 4 - eggs
- 1.5 cups light or dark corn syrup
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2.5 cups chopped pecans
How To Make pecan squares

Step 1CRUST: In a large mixing bowl, blend together flour, sugar, butter and salt until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Step 2Press firmly and evenly into a greased 15x10x1 baking pan.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Step 4Meanwhile, in another bowl, combine eggs, syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla.

Step 5Stir in pecans.

Step 6Spread evenly over hot crust.

Step 7Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until set.

Step 8Cool on a wire rack.
