Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 cups self-rising flour
How To Make bea's pecan sandies

Step 1Mix together the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add in the nuts and then work in the flour.

Step 2Shape into rolls and wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for several hours.

Step 3Unwrap and cut into thin slices and place onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for approximately 10 minutes.

Step 4HINT: I always line my cookie sheets with aluminum foil then spray the foil. I find this as easy clean-up.
