  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 2
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 3 c
    self-rising flour

How to Make Bea's Pecan Sandies


  1. Mix together the butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add in the nuts and then work in the flour.
  2. Shape into rolls and wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for several hours.
  3. Unwrap and cut into thin slices and place onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for approximately 10 minutes.
  4. HINT: I always line my cookie sheets with aluminum foil then spray the foil. I find this as easy clean-up.
