I have 7 Great Grandchildren and when we go to the cottage they always want cookies to munch on so I usually make 2 or 3 different kinds and this is one of their favorites.

    butter, softened
  • 2
  • 1 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
    apple juice, unsweetened
  • 1 1/21 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c
    peeled and chopped small ...apples
  • 1 c
    golden raisins
  • 3/4 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make Pecan. Raisin Apple Cookies


  1. In bowl cream butter and brown sugar until crumbly add eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy add apple juice..In bowl combine the flour, oats baking soda and spices and add to creamed mixture,,add raisins, apples and nuts and stir until well combined.
  2. Grease cookie sheet or cover with parchment and bake by rounded tablespoon onto sheet about 2 inches apart bake at 350F for 10 to 15 minutes or until light brown,,,cool on wire rack. and go for it you little ankle biters...
