Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup butter, unsalted, chilled, cut up
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon dark corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon mild molasses
- 1 tablespoon maple extract
- 4 cups pecans, halved, toasted
- 1 cup sweetened coconut, shredded
How To Make pecan pie chunky cookies

Step 1Whisk flour, soda & salt in a medium bowl.

Step 2Beat sugar & butter in a large bowl at medium speed 3 minutes or until light & fluffy. Beat in egg, maple syrup, corn syrup, molasses & maple extract until blended. At low speed, beat in flour mixture just until combined. Stir in pecans & coconut. Cover & refrigerate 2 - 3 hours or overnight, until firm enough to shape.

Step 3Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 4Drop scant 3 Tbsp dough per cookie onto parchment paper lined baking sheets; gently form into balls. Freeze dough on baking sheets 10 minutes or until firm.

Step 5Bake 12 - 14 minutes or until edges are pale brown. Cool on baking sheet on wire rack 3 minutes. Place cookies on rack; cool completely & enjoy!
