This has been a favorite recipe of friends, family, co-workers and church members for years. It is quicker and easier than baking a pecan pie; not to mention, it serves a lot more people. The ingredients are readily available from the local grocery store.

Ingredients
- 2 cups unsifted plain flour
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 cup cold butter (do not substitute margarine)
- 1-14 oz can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-6oz package heath almond brickle chips
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
How To Make pecan pie bars

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees (325 for glass dish). In medium bowl, combine four and sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press firmly on bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake 15 minutes.

Step 2While bottom layer is baking, in medium bowl, beat sweetened condensed milk, egg and vanilla. Stir in chips and pecans. Spread evenly over crust.

Step 3Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator.
