Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1.5 cups light corn syrup
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2.5 cups chopped pecans

How To Make pecan pie bars

  • Step 1
    CRUST: Beat Flour, 1 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar and salt until mixture resembles crumbs.
  • Step 2
    Heavily grease bottom and sides of 15\"x10\" baking pan at least 1-1/2\" deep.
  • Step 3
    Press mixture firmly into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • Step 4
    FILLING: Blend eggs, corn syrup, 1-1/2 cups sugar, 3 tablespoons butter and vanilla.
  • Step 5
    Stir in chopped pecans.
  • Step 6
    Spread over hot crust.
  • Step 7
    Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until set.
  • Step 8
    Cool, cut into bars.
