Ingredients

  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1.5 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1.5 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1.5 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2.5 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make Pecan Pie Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. CRUST: Beat Flour, 1 cup butter, 1/2 cup sugar and salt until mixture resembles crumbs.
  2. Heavily grease bottom and sides of 15"x10" baking pan at least 1-1/2" deep.
  3. Press mixture firmly into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  4. FILLING: Blend eggs, corn syrup, 1-1/2 cups sugar, 3 tablespoons butter and vanilla.
  5. Stir in chopped pecans.
  6. Spread over hot crust.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until set.
  8. Cool, cut into bars.
