Ingredients
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups finely ground/chopped nuts/pecans
- - confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar)
How To Make pecan nougats

Step 1Cream butter, sugar, and salt until fluffy.

Step 2Add flour and vanilla, Mix well scraping down sides as needed.

Step 3Add nuts and mix well unless incorporated. Shape into one inch balls.

Step 4Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes, but dont let them brown.

Step 5When cool, roll in confectioner's sugar. YUMMY enjoy.
