this a recipe that was was given to my by my god mother

Ingredients

  • 2 cups butter, softened
  • 4 cups flour sifted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 8 - egg
  • 4 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups coconut, flaked
  • 2 cups chopped pecan

How To Make pecan fingers

  • Step 1
    mix butter flour and salt until it is coarse ...put it a square baking pan and bake @ 350 for about 15 minutes or until it is light brown
  • Step 2
    in a brown combine the remaining items and spread evenly over pans and bake for 20 minutes @ 350 remove your pans and put them on your rack and let it cool down for 10 or 15 minutes and cut them into about 2" squares
  • Step 3
    the make about four dozen i always cut them a little bigger <3 enjoy <3
