Ingredients

1/2 c
shortening
1/2 c
butter
1 box
light brown sugar
2
eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 c
all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
pecans ~ finely chopped

How to Make Pecan Crisp Cookies ! Flavors of Cape Cod

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven 350 degrees F
    Cream shortening and butter thoroughly, gradually add sugar and cream well. Add well-beaten eggs.
    Reduce speed of mixer and add the flour that has been sifted with salt and soda. Add vanilla. Stir in chopped pecans.
  • 2Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet, two inches apart.

    Bake for about 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
    Yields ~ 5-6 dozen
