these are the best pecan cookies i have ever eaten.they are so easy to make,the only reason the prep time is longer,is because,you have to refrigerate the dough ,so its not so messy.

Ingredients For pecan cookies

  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine
  • 1 1/4 c
    brown sugar,i like the light kind
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    pecan pieces

How To Make pecan cookies

  • 1
    mix all this together, with a wire wisk,in a large bowl,then refrigerate it,for around 30 minutes.i do melt that butter before i mix it up.then roll in balls,and flatten the tops on an ungreased cookie sheet.bake at 350 degrees,for 10-12 minutes,take off sheet immediately.
