Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 pound butter, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups pecans, in pieces
- - confectioners' sugar
How To Make pecan butter balls

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2Cream together sugar and butter until light and fluffy beat in vanilla, add flour and salt blend into soft dough stir in pecans.

Step 3Shape into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 25 min. Until cookies are firm and light brown on the bottom. Remove from cookie sheet and roll in confectioner's sugar. Cool and store in airtight container. You may roll twice in confectioner's sugar.
