Ingredients
- 2 cups a. p. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 cups light brown sugar (packed)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
How To Make pecan blondies with chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with butter or parchment paper.

Step 2Mix flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat and then remove from heat. Add the sugar and whisk until sugar melts and mixture is well blended.

Step 3Whisk in eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour mixture (batter will be thick). Spread batter in prepared pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Bake approximately 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.

Step 4Cool blondies in the pan on a rack. Cut into squares and serve.
