This is a mash-up of several peanut butter cookie recipes (following several tasty experiments) with the spices and the sugar coating added as a twist.

Ingredients For peanut butter sugar cookies

1 cbutter (mostly melted)

1 ccreamy 100% peanut butter

1 cwhite sugar

1 cfirmly packed brown sugar

2eggs
-
2egg yolks

1 tspvanilla

1 Tbsphoney

2 1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspnutmeg

1/2 tspcinnamon

granulated white sugar for rolling
How To Make peanut butter sugar cookies

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars together in a large bowl.

3Beat in eggs, egg yolks, honey and vanilla.

4In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

5Gradually add the dry mixture to butter/sugar/egg mixture and mix on low speed.

6Roll cookie dough into 1 inch balls and roll balls in granulated sugar.

7Place balls on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper, and flatten each ball with a fork, making a crisscross pattern.

8Bake in preheated oven for about 9 minutes. Cookies should be golden.
