I got this recipe from my Aunt Viv decades ago. I still love them and make them often. You should use the disk that looks like a flat line with teeth.

Ingredients

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margerine
1/2 cup sugar
1 - egg
3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 dash salt

How To Make peanut butter press cookie

Step 1

Cream peanut butter, margarine, sugar, and brown sugar.

Step 2

Beat in egg
Step 3

Stir together flour, baking soda, and a dash of salt.
Step 4

Add to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Step 5

Chill 10 min. Put thru press. Put on cookie sheet in log ribbon, and score to length. It will be easy to break apart when done.
Step 6

Bake at 400 deg. for about 8 minutes
