I got this recipe from my Aunt Viv decades ago. I still love them and make them often. You should use the disk that looks like a flat line with teeth.

How to Make Peanut Butter Press Cookie

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream peanut butter, margarine, sugar, and brown sugar.
  2. Beat in egg
  3. Stir together flour, baking soda, and a dash of salt.
  4. Add to creamed mixture. Mix well.
  5. Chill 10 min. Put thru press. Put on cookie sheet in log ribbon, and score to length. It will be easy to break apart when done.
  6. Bake at 400 deg. for about 8 minutes
