My boyfriend loves peanut butter and oatmeal. This is his favorite cookie especially when I decided to add peanut butter chips to give it extra peanutty goodness!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    quick cooking oats
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter chips

How to Make PEANUT BUTTER OATMEAL COOKIES

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Mix the butter, shortening, sugars and peanut butter.
  2. Add eggs one at a time. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Combine flour, soda and salt then add to sugar mixture.
  4. Add oats and peanut butter chips.
  5. Scoop out 1 1/2 inch balls using a tablespoon and place on a non stick cookie sheet or parchment paper.
  6. Bake 10 minutes if you like a soft cookie 12-14 for a more firm cookie.
