Everytime our family gets together, I am asked to make this recipe. I know there are a lot of versions of this recipe, but this is my favorite.

Ingredients For peanut butter delight

2 c

sugar
1/4 c

milk
4 Tbsp

cocoa powder
1 1/2 stick

butter or margarine
1 c

peanut butter
2 1/2 c

oatmeal
1/4 c

coconut (optional)
1/4 c

chopped pecans (optional)
1 tsp

vanilla flavoring

How To Make peanut butter delight

Combine first 4 ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a rapid boil. Boil for 1-1/2 minutes.

Turn burner off and stir in peanut butter until smooth.

Add remaining ingredients, and stir until well mixed.

Pour into a lightly greased 9 x 13 cookie pan and let cool. Cut into squares and serve.
