peanut butter cup cookies

I found these on another site, and I just love making them. And of course, eating them. Very easy to make. Who doesn't like chocolate and peanut butter? Mmmmmm.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 stick butter, softnd (1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (i used creamy but any type is fine)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 30 - unwrapped mini peanut butter cups

How To Make peanut butter cup cookies

  • Step 1
    First, place unwrapped mini peanut butter cups in the freezer. In a small/medium bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, cream softened butter, both white and brown sugar, and peanut butter. Beat in the egg, vanilla, and milk. Then add the flour mixture and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Roll dough into balls (about 1 1/2 - 2") and place in an ungreased mini muffin pan. Bake for 8 minutes - no more.
  • Step 4
    After 8 minutes, remove from the pan. Immediately place one mini peanut butter cup in the middle of each cookie and lightly press down. Let cool in the pan for at least one hour. Then refrigerate until the peanut butter cup is firm. Enjoy!
