FAST, EASY & DELICIOUS! This is one of my favorite childhood recipes. Now I make them for the youth at my church and they just love them...as well as the "big kids" :) Everyone asks for the recipe! This is also a great recipe to use for Bake Sales..it's usually the first to go!

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup, light
- 2 cups peanut butter, creamy
- 4 cups puffed rice cereal
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make peanut butter crunchies

Step 1Bring to a boil in a 2-qt pot; sugar and corn syrup. Cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter and vanilla, stir till smooth. In a large bowl, put cereal & pour peanut butter mixture over cereal, mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax or foil paper. Let cool completely and enjoy. They will remain soft & chewy.
