    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2
  • 1 c
    peanut butter
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    rolled oats

How to Make Peanut Butter Cookies with Oatmeal


  1. Place shortening and sugars in a bowl, beat until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and beat well. Blend in peanut butter.
  3. Sift together flour, salt and soda. Stir into peanut butter mixture.
  4. Stir in oatmeal.
  5. Roll dough to form small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. With a fork, press to make criss cross on each cookie.
  7. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes.
