Ingredients
- 1/2 cup margarine or butter
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 11/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make peanut butter cookies

Step 1In a mixing bowl beat margarine and peanut butter with a mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds. Add 1/2 cup of the flour, the sugars, egg, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla.

Step 2Beat till thoroughly combined. Beat in remaining flour. If necessary, cover and chill dough till easy to handle.

Step 3Shape dough in 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten by crisscrossing with tines of a fork. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 7 to 9 minutes or till bottoms are lightly brown. Cool cookies on a wire rack.
