Ingredients

  • 2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    peanut butter, either crunchy or creamy
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How to Make Peanut Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.

    Mix dry ingredients togerher and blend into the other mixture.
  2. Shape into 1" balls and roll in sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Criscross cookie with a fork. Dip the fork in cool water and then press into cookie to keep it from sticking.
  3. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly on the cookie sheet - maye 3 - 5 minutes. Remove from pan!

    You're ready for a treat!
