I Made These Cookies For My 5 Kids And One Of My Sisters 6 Kids A Lot.And Their Friends For After School.my kids rolled the dough into ball's and we all used our fork to make the one each wanted for their self. these are great cookies Doris

Ingredients

1 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter, creamy
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar packed
2 - eggs
21/2 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

How To Make peanut butter cookies

Step 1

in a large bowl mix shortening & peanut butter well. in diffrent bowl add both of the sugars mixing well. beat in eggs well,sift in mixed flour, salt,baking powder. then sift together to beat into pranut butter mixture. make dough into small balls.place on ungreasd cookie sheet.flaten with a fork. bake at (375*) for 10-15 min. makes about 4-5 dozen.
