peanut butter cookies
Came up with this by accident. The kids love it. You don't have to use creamy peanut butter; you can use the crunchy instead.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup shortening, butter flavor
- 1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy
- 1 - egg
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
How To Make peanut butter cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream shortening with the sugar and brown sugar, about 5 minutes. Add the peanut butter. Mix an additional 2 minutes. Add all the dry ingredients; mix for about 2 minutes. Shape dough into 3/4 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake until set, but not hard (about 10 minutes)
