How to Make Peanut Butter Cookies
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- In a large bowl, cream shortening, peanut butter and sugars until light and fluffy; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well; roll into 1 ½ inch balls; place 3 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets and flatten with a fork in crisscross pattern.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes; remove to wire racks.
