My mom got this recipe when in highschool from her best friends mom: this from my mom " This came from the mom of my best friend from high school. She lived two houses down the road from my Brad's parents and was Brad's favorite cookie..........the reason I asked her for this one!"

yield 3-4 dozen

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup butter
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
2 - eggs

How To Make peanut butter cookies

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients.

Step 2

Mix butter, sugar and eggs in another bowl, add dry ingredients mix well.
Step 3

Bake at 325 degrees for 7-8 minutes using an ungreased cookie sheet.
