Ingredients

1 cup crisco shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 - eggs
1 cup peanut butter, creamy
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups flour

How To Make peanut butter cookies

Step 1

Add shortening to mixing bowl and cream together with alternating brown and white sugars. Add 2 room temperature eggs,peanut butter and vanilla. Add soda and flour. Mix together well.

Step 2

Form small balls and press with fork on slightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 12 minutes. A nut,raisin or chocolate kiss can be placed in the center of each cookie.
