peanut butter chocolate oatmeal cookies
I'm not a fan of the raisins and cinnamon that you find in traditional oatmeal cookie recipes, so I added my own twist!

Ingredients
- 2 sticks light margarine, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, pure
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups oats, quick cooking or old fashioned
- 1/2 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 package peanut butter chips
How To Make peanut butter chocolate oatmeal cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

Step 3Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.

Step 4Stir in oats, chocolate and peanut butter chips; mix well.

Step 5Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet; bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6Note: I find these cookies to be at their best once they've cooled.
