My daughter wanted peanut butter cookies and my boyfriend wanted chocolate chip cookies so this is what i came up with

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup sugar
2 - eggs
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 package chocolate chips

How To Make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375

Step 2

Cream the butter, shortening and peanut butter together
Step 3

Add about half of the flour, brown sugar, sugar, eggs, vanilla and baking soda. mix really well
Step 4

Add the rest of the flour and mix. Then add the chocolate chips
Step 5

Place the dough 2 inches apart on a non greased cookie sheet
Step 6

Bake for about 8 minutes or till edges are golden brown
