Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars

You can substitute the plain M&M's and peanuts and use just the M&M's that have peanut in them. They are good too. We make these especially for Christmas. A family must!

  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/3 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
    peanut butter
  • 1/4 c
    margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1
  • 1 1/4 c
    self rising flour
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts
  • 1 c
    m&m's plain chocolate candies

How to Make Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars


  1. Heat oven to 375. Grease and flour rectangular pan. 13x9x2 in. Mix sugars, peanut butter, margarine, and vanilla. Beat in water and egg. Mix in flour. Stir in peanuts and candies. Spread dough in pan. Bake until light brown. 22to25 min. Cool, cut into bars. About 2x11/2 in. Makes 36 Bars.
