butter, softened
1/2 c
creamy peanut butter
3/4 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c
granulated sugar
2 Tbsp
1 3/4 c
all-purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
12oz. pkg. ghirardeli milk chocolate or semi-sweet chips
additional sugar for rolling
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract

How to Make Peanut Butter Chip Cookies


  • 1In a mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • 2Roll into 1 inch balls; roll in additional sugar. Place 2 inches apart on parchment lined baking sheet. Flatten if desired. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes 4 dozen.
